The Spirit Squad tryouts are held in the spring. Although anyone can tryout for both the cheer and the dance team, you can only be selected for one team. Fullerton College will be responsible for teaching the material at tryouts. Hip Hop team will be selected in the fall.

Professional judges are brought in to evaluate applicants on talent. There is no minimum or maximum number of team members selected.
